The ABC’s of Alzheimer’s Disease

On August 15th, the Alzheimer’s Association, will host a free presentation to provide children a basic understanding of Alzheimer’s disease. Alzheimer’s disease affects all members of the famil – even children. Children can recognize the changes Alzheimer’s brings about in a family member and it can be especially confusing. The ABC’s of Alzheimer’s Disease is a free presentation that introduces children to the disease and provides them with a safe environment to ask questions!

This fun and interactive presentation discusses what happens to someone who has Alzheimer’s disease,  Identifies common feelings experienced by the children whose family member has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease and will include an activity and learning book along with a box of crayons. This is for children ages 4- 10. Registration is required! Please contact Danielle Bruzese at or at 646-744-2929.
