CHASHAMA’S WINDOW PROGRAM DEADLINE EXTENDED TO 4/13/09. VIVA PUBLIC ART!

Chashama is a performance and visual arts company that aims to support the creative spirit of emerging New York artists by giving them the space and opportunities to allow their energies to flourish. 

 

The Windows Program is a public art initiative that uses vacant storefronts as a stage for performers to enliven.   The types of performances are limitless— world dance, puppetry, live visual art, and portrait painting to name a few.  The program encourages participants to push their artistic boundaries and to find new ways to liven and engage the audience.
