·      HARD WORK - Working Teams have met regularly to focus on areas of concern: Affordability; Culture & Historic Preservation; Economic Development & Revitalization; Education & Schools; Immigrant Affairs & Social Services, Parks & Open Space; Parking, Transportation, Safety & Security, and; Zoning.
·      COMMUNITY INPUT - The CWG hosted a Town Hall last June at PS 124 attended by more than 200 people. It will host another on Monday, February 1, 7pm at PS 130.  All CWG meetings are open. The minutes and schedule of CWG meetings are posted on our website.
·      A COMPREHENSIVE PLAN - The CWG drafted guiding principles that evolved into a Preliminary Action Plan as the basis for a comprehensive 197-a Plan for Chinatown, which the CWG hopes to submit to the Department of City Planning this Spring.
