Early Stages is a non-for-profit formed in 1983 to bring New York’s incomparable worldly culture to its under-served City children by “fostering literacy through the arts.” Founded by theater greats Alvin Ailey, Lillian Gish, Michael Bennett, Helen Hayes and Jack Gilford, Early Stages is dedicated to bringing a powerful, integrated arts education to students throughout the five boroughs.
This Saturday bring your little ones to the Early Stages Storytelling Benefit. Activities include face painting, storytelling and music, and raffle prizes. All proceeds will go to the Early Stages Organization.
