This fabulously fun class is designed for 3,4 and 5 year olds! It will draw from the Circus Big Top to create an action packed and fun filled hula hoop class. Beginning with a song that includes stretching and moving the entire body, we will warm up in preparation for the Obstacle Course. The kids will be lead thru a series of hula hoop obstacles that will include jumping thru a hoop, walking down a pretend flight of stairs while balancing a hoop on their head, balancing on one foot, dancing with the hula hoop, and jumping like a frog from hoop to hoop. The class will end with some simple prop manipulation such spinning the hoop on the floor, rolling and catching the hula hoop, and finally spinning the hoop around the waist.

Circus Fun instructor, Jenny McGowan (a.k.a Miss Saturn), has been teaching and performing in various capacities for over 15 years. She is a physical comedian, teacher, and hula hoop artist and has become a mainstay in NYC's top vaudeville and cabaret scene. She has been teaching regular classes for Beth Elohim Early Child Hood Department, Beth Elohim Afterschool Progrm, Gymstars, and Circus Minimus. Jenny's full length show and variety acts have left people in laughter and awe across the world. She has performed her solo outdoor show at the World Busker's Festival in New Zealand, as well as enjoying a weekly run in Victorian Gardens in Central Park and at Coney Island. She also has been freelancing and touring with the Bindlestiff Family Circus since 2003.
