THE LOWER EAST SIDE HISTORY PROJECT PRESENTS: PRESERVATION EFFORTS ON THE LES— TONIGHT!
It is no secret the Lower East Side is going through a change in landscape and population; this panel looks to dissect the history of preservation efforts in NYC and the social/economic conditions which lead to mass gentrification. Panel speakers will include Rob Hollander from the LESHP, Elizabeth Solomon from the Greenwich Village Society for Historic Preservation and David Mulkins from the Bowery Alliance of Neighbors.
