PATTON OSWALT @ CAROLINE'S: TODAY THROUGH 2/22/9, 8:00PM + 10:30PM.

Maybe  you recognize Patton Oswalt from his role on Everybody Loves Raymond, or from his voiceover work as the gastronomically sophisticated rat  in Ratatouille. And yes, he did good work in those roles. But where he really shines is on stage doing stand-up, and he'll be doing just that at Caroline's this weekend.

Be warned: just because he did a Pixar movie it does not mean that you should bring your kids. In fact, if you're at work right now, you may want to plug in the headphones before taking in the genius of his routines about  sanitized filth and the KFC bowl—unless you work someplace that's tolerant of free expression like we are here at the SoHo Journal. If that's the case, crank it up and share the funny. Then get tickets, because you really should go.
