POKER STAR ANNIE DUKE CHAIRS PARKINSON'S CHARITY EVENT— 11/11/09

Come out to support a good cause and get a good poker lesson from poker icon Annie Duke as she Chair’s the Parkinson’s Disease charity event, “Raising the Stakes.” The evening will include casino games, cocktails, dinner, dancing and prizes, including one personal poker lesson from Annie Duke and all proceeds will support the research of the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation.

 

Parkinson’s Disease is a neurological movement disorder that is chronic and progressive.  It affects nearly a million people in the United States and as of now there is no cure or definitive cause.

 

The event will be hosted by the Parkinson's Disease Foundation, with Honorary Chair, Annie Duke and Co-Chairs Jose Cruz, Peter Dorn and Doug Stern.
