They Might Be Giants is an adult band with a child’s soul. Their lyrics display thematic depth while their pop sounds make it all seem surreal. They are whimsical and wonderful, and remind me very much of The Little Prince. Thus, it is completely understandable how they are tailor-made for a children’s concert.
Bring your kids to see They MIght Be Giants at Le Poisson Rouge on Saturday. It will entertain them now, but more so, it will illuminate them later.
