VOICES OF PROMISE: A SPECIAL WORLD AIDS DAY EVENT— 12/1

In conjunction with the Nuyorican Poets Cafe, the Sex Ed Advocacy Group will be hosting a performing arts event commemorating World AIDS Day while continuing to raise awareness about the current state of the HIV/AIDS epidemic in New York and showcase PPNYC's Project Streetbeat Program, which works with at-risk populations. The event will feature spoken word artists and speakers whose work and stories emphasizes the impact the HIV virus has had on their lives and their community.  The event is hosted by The Sex Ed Advocacy Group of Planned Parenthood of New York City.
